Changing places when performing Salaah
Q: I'd like to know if it's true that it's good to change places when we do salaah, because on the day of judgement, all these places where we did salaah will testify for us? For example, in a same home, I do fajar in the bedroom, zohar in another room and so on? Please enlighten me on this subject.
A: It is true that the places whereupon namaaz was read will bear testimony on the Day of Qiyaamah. However, it is more preferable for a women to perform namaaz in the most secluded and hidden area of her house.
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنظَرِينَ ﴿الدخان: ٢٩﴾
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
عن أبي هريرة قال قرأ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم هذه الآية { يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا } قال أتدرون ما أخبارها قالوا الله ورسوله أعلم قال فإن أخبارها أن تشهد على كل عبد وأمة بما عَمِل على ظهرها أن تقول عمل كذا وكذا يوم كذا وكذا فهذه أخبارها ثم قال الترمذي هذا حديث حسن صحيح غريب
وفي معجم الطبراني من حديث ابن لَهِيعة حدثني الحارث بن يزيد -سمع ربيعة الجُرَشي أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال تحفظوا من الأرض فإنها أمكم وإنه ليس من أحد عامل عليها خيرًا أو شرًا إلا وهي مُخبرة (تفسير ابن كثير 4/ 539)
