Hadith question - Branding

Q:
1. Kindly advise me if the following Hadith is authentic and if possible, the source of the hadith: Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said, "Healing is in three things: cupping, a gulp of honey or cauterization, (branding with fire) but I forbid my followers to use cauterization (branding with fire)."
2. What is the ruling regarding the use of branding as a form of treatment?
A:
1. The hadeeth is authentic and it appears in Saheeh Bukhaari.
2. Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has allowed it only in extreme circumstances.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال الشفاء في ثلاثة في شرطة محجم أو شربة عسل أو كية بنار وأنا أنهى أمتي عن الكي (صحيح البخاري، الرقم: 5681)
