Masturbation
Q: Is it a major sin for a woman to masturbate? Could you please provide references from the Quran Sharif and Hadith for the satisfaction of my heart and mind? I have heard that it can cause weak memory and eyesight as well as other health problems.
A: It is an extremely shameful act whether committed by a man or woman. Repent to Allah. To ask whether it is a major sin or a minor sin is not at all appropriate. What you are alluding to is that if it is a minor sin then you can go on committing it. Just as a huge fire is destructive a minor fire is equally destructive.
