Studying in co-educational institutes

Q:

1. Studying in coeducational institute is permissible in Islam?

2. To give lesson to females by a male educator or the vice versa is permissible in Islam?

A:

1. No.

2. No. If it is small little children and there is absolutely no fear of any type of fitnah it is permissible. This is with regards to children that are under the age of nine.
