Petrol attendant filling more fuel than requested

Q: I requested R300 fuel at a filling station, but the attendant filled R370 in error. Am I obligated to pay the extra R70? The manager informed me that the attendant is liable. Is this correct? What about the extra fuel in my tank?
A: You should ask them to drain the extra fuel from your petrol tank. If you keep the extra petrol, you should pay for it.
