Musaafir performing full salaah after returning home

Q: I returned home from a 7 day holiday in Durban. The time for Asr set in while I was driving. I reached home 45 mins before Magrib and prayed Asr 4 rakaats.

Should I have read Asr as a Musafir or full Salaah? What are the rules regarding Musafir when returning from a journey for a Salaah that has set in but only read when at home?

A: If a musaafir has not yet performed the salaah of the time and then reaches home while the time of the salaah has not yet expired, he will perform full salaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
