Accusing someone of doing black magic based on a dream

Q: I've been reciting "Ya Jabbaaru Ya Qahhaaru" 100 times daily to see the face of the person who is behind black magic. I saw eyes of two people. I wanted to ask if you perform istikhaara for such things?

A: In Shari'ah dreams are not regarded as Shari'ee evidence to accuse any person. At times, a dream can be influenced by Shaitaan or one's feelings and thoughts. Hence, the better and safer thing for you is that you should turn to Allah Ta'ala and seek His divine assistance.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
