Accepting card payments

Q: I wish to inquire further regarding Mufti saabs ruling of installing atm machines on one's premises. Will the same ruling follow a card machine facility, with which many benefits exists but a customer may also pay with a credit card from haraam funds(interest bearing loan / overdraft, etc.)?

A: The transaction will be permissible as the seller does not know whether the customer is being charged interest immediately through using the credit card. There are certain credit cards which interest is not charged as long as one pays the loan within the stipulated time.
