Compensation for committing adultery

Q: If someone got involved in intercourse before marriage and then got married later to that woman, off course this is not permissable in Islam (May Allah forgive them). Is there is any Kafara now?
A: The both husband and wife should sincerely repent to Allah Ta'ala for committing such a grave sin before the nikaah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
الزَّانِيَةُ وَالزَّانِي فَاجْلِدُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُم بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌ فِي دِينِ اللَّـهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّـهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَلْيَشْهَدْ عَذَابَهُمَا طَائِفَةٌ مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿النور: ٢﴾
