Purchasing a house in a family trust

Q: Is it better to buy a property, house, in ones personal capacity or in an existing family trust?

A: Both are permissible. However, in the case where the house or property is bought in a trust, it should be made clear whether the house belongs to all the members of the trust or it belongs to one individual and the trust has merely been drawn up for legal implications.
