Reading In the State of Janaabat
Q: Are the following things allowed in the state of obligatory bath:
1. Reciting A'udhu billahi… & Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
2. Reciting Verses of the Quran from memory
3. Reciting masnun duas such as the dua before entering the toilet
4. Reciting Istighfaar, Tasbih, KalimahTayyibah, etc
5. Eating and drinking after properly gargling our mouth and rinsing our nose with water
If a wet dream occurs during the night then can I take the bath when I wake up before Fajr Salaah or should I bath then and there?
A: 1. To recite ta`awwauz is permissible. Tasmiyah, if read as a dua is permissible.
2. Verses of the Qur’aan Shareef should not be recited in the state of janaabat.

5. Yes and washing the hands.
6. Yes.
( و ) يحرم به ( تلاوة قرآن ) ولو دون آية المختار ( بقصده ) فلو قصد الدعاء أو الثناء أو افتتاح أمر أو التعليم ولقن كلمة كلمة حل في الأصح حتى لو قصد بالفاتحة الثناء في الجنازة لم يكره ... ( ك ) ما لا تكره ( أدعية ) (الدر المختار 1/172-174)
ولا أكله وشربه بعد غسل يد وفم (الدر المختار 1/175)
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يصيب من أهله ثم ينام ولا يمس ماء فإن استيقظ من آخر الليل عاد واغتسل
قال محمد : هذا الحديث أرفق بالناس وهو قول أبي حنيفة رحمه الله (الموطأ للإمام محمد 72)
عن عمر : أنه سأل النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم أينام أحدنا وهو جنب ؟ قال نعم إذا توضأ (ترمذي 1/32)
