Celebrating thanks giving

Q: I had a question about thanks giveing? Is it ok for a Muslim to celebrate it?

A: One is supposed to thank Allah Ta'ala everyday for the countless favours and bounties one receives from Allah Ta'ala. Similarly one should be appreciative and thankful to all those one benefits from. Earmarking one day to express thanks is totally against the spirit of Islam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
