Doing security for bars
Q: Is it permissible to work events at a bar/ brewery doing security. They have nothing to do with alcohol. They just do crowd control and access control. Moreover the person works for the security company not for the bar. They have the contract so he gets called for events for ex: weddings, auctions, dinners, parties etc Most part is doing games at the air Canada Center for raptors and leafs and sometimes at the bar.
And the other question is I am currently a full time Imam in America and I do interfaith. There is a class coming to my mosque next week no the boys and girls will be coming together what do you advise me to do separate both of them or talk to them together?
A: Avoid employment in such environments.
We do not know what interfaith entails, and the Shari`ah does not allow women to attend musjids and public places without a very valid reason.
