Q: A new virtual world like the real world has been created and I think it's called metaverse. On the virtual earth, we are allowed to buy properties and plots of lands or famous landmarks around the world. We can even buy Makkah and Madina. Thus we will be the owner of those places in the virtual world. You can sell it later at higher prices.
Are we allowed to do such purchase properties that are virtual, non-tangible with real money?
Q: I am a girl and two of my girl cousins recently got married and their husbands mix freely with them in playing some games such as cards or monopoly for example. They always force me to play with them and I try not to play with them anymore.
I heard that free mixing is haraam and I tried to tell them but they mocked me and said that we are just playing cards and we are not sitting near each other, there's a distance.
I wanted to ask what should I do? Am I sinful for playing with them because their husband's aren't my mahram although we keep distance? How can I convince them if it is haraam?
Q: If a couple of people are musaafirs in a city and decide to perform Zuhr Salaah in their hotel rather than go for jumuah, is it then:
(a) Best for them to pray zuhr salaah individually rather than making a jamaat OR
(b) Obligatory for them to pray zuhr salaah individually rather than making a jamaat OR
(c) Best for them to make a jamaat for zuhr salaah?
Q: If someone commits kufr and they have to renew their marriage, does this count as a divorce? Have they used up one of their 3 divorces?
Q: Could Mufti Saheb please explain to me the actual meaning that we take from the ayat which means: "No bearer shall bear the burden of another".
The reason I ask is because I heard an Aalim say that we think that our aamaal only affect us but it's not right because when Nabi e Kareem صلى الله عليه وسلم went for Mi'raaj than it was seen that all aamaal of the people was going up and conditions according to it go down upon the people. Meaning, because of our aamaal, people in Syria are under distress but wouldn't that contradict the Ayat.
From what I understand, is that the aamaal go up and according to one's own aamaal a person will get benefit or harm no matter what the condition. Is this the right understanding and if it is, should I in a way of extreme hikmat explain to the Aaalim who is my dear Ustaad?
Q: There is much confusion amongst people of knowledge regarding the term, 'difference of opinion'. Many students and scholars alike latch onto this term when it comes to social distancing in salaah and the closure of Masaajid. To clarify this dilemma, please provide us with guidance regarding the following:
1. Is social distancing in Salaah and Musjid closure a valid difference of opinion?
2. What are the limits of and what type of valid difference of opinions ought to be respected?
Q: What is the condition of a business that remains open and trading at the time of Jummah. All Muslim staff leave for Salaah but the doors remain open.
Q: If someone had a question thinking about Aqeedah, that question being “Do we say that we worship the Zaat of Allah? Do we say that we worship the Sifaat of Allah?” How would you respond?
Q: Can a plot be purchased in a newly developing area where the exact physical location of the plot cannot be determined? They showed the plot on a map and the roads, other plots adjacent to the said plot, roads and park etc. in proximity to the said plot. They showed us that the area of the said plot and told us that your plot cannot be located now as the demarcation of the plots is not yet done. Is this sale and purchase valid?
Q: If the person has access to water and isn’t ill and he can use it and suppose this person does the actions of tayammum, is it said that he did tayammum but it’s not valid or is it said that does not count as tayammum as water is present?
