Q: Are we allowed to use cannabis oil because someone is suffering from a particular disease and this oil is proven to be very effective?

Q: I like to enquire about the flower of Maryam. Firstly is there such a flower? Secondly, many Muslim sisters seem to put this in water at the time of giving birth? Is this allowed? And lastly women drink this water after the flower has been submerged. I like to enquire is this part of Islam?

Q: My wife suffers from an hormonal imbalance and the doctor has prescribed medication for her. The doctor has requested she takes this medication in order for her to improve her quality of life. The medication has gelatine in it. Is it permissible for her to take this medication?

Q: I have a skin condition on my face which I am suffering from for +/- 10 years. I have tried various treatments but the success is very short. I was told about a natural medication which I researched with good results. I completed 10 days of the course (so far good) before learning that the capsules are made from bovine gelatin. Is it possible to continue the medication? I do not wish to consume something that is not lawful and at the same time I want a cure to my skin condition.
