Not pronouncing the Haa at the end of سمع الله لمن حمده
Q: After ruku I used to say sami Allah huliman hamida (without ha in the end) and no Ayn at Allah, will this make my salah invalid?
Q: After ruku I used to say sami Allah huliman hamida (without ha in the end) and no Ayn at Allah, will this make my salah invalid?
Q: I want to know what are the faraaidh of Salaah?
Q: In ruku should the arms be kept straight or should they be bent with the elbows sticking out?
Q: What I wanted to ask you is that how can one make dua in sujood? Is it allowed for one to make dua in a speaking way in sujood or you just make dua in your heart when in sujood and the second thing is that I want to know how to make dua to Allah Ta'ala and at what time when some one has wronged you, has hurt you etc, what should I pray to just complain about that person to Allah Ta'ala?
Q:
1. Should one's heels be apart or touching whilst in sujood? Is this sunnah? If so which part of the foot should be touching each other as a lot of people are not aware of this?
2. If one recites bismillah in the 3rd or 4th rakaat of a fadh salaah after surah fatiha as though he is going to recite a surah, but then realises and doesn't proceed with the surah, would this require sajda-e-sahw?
Q: Our local Imaam recites long Surahs in Maghrib Salaah and very short Surahs in Esha Salaah. My understanding is that it should be other way around. Please advise the correct procedure especially in the light of the sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).
Q: Before going to the Masjid for salaah or when performing Nafl Salaah at home, I aply Itr, comb my hair, apply some olive oil to my beard, use the Miswaak, and ensure that my kurta is clean. What intention should I make before doing these actions?
Q: If I prayed my salaah and I felt a lack of khushoo and felt as though my mind was diverted by dunya matters, should/can I repeat the salaah?
Q: Immediately after performing his Fardh and/or Sunnah Muakkadah Salaah, a person is unable to remain seated and recite tasbeeh-e-Faatimi, Ayatul Kursi and other wazaaif on account of some time constraints or traveling. Whilst he is walking to his car, or even whilst driving, can he thus recite Ayatul Kursi, tasbeeh-e-Faatimi and other wazaaif now? Or would it be better to delay it and recite it at another time when he can be completely dedicated towards it?
Q: Respected Mufti, I stood behind in prayers where these verses were recited and on the second verse the Imaam would stop the surah and go into ruku. Is this allowed? If not, is this in violation on any of the etiquette of recitation of the Quran?
