Swallowing saliva in Salaah
Q: If you intentionally accumulate saliva and swallow in salaah, is your salaah broken?
Q: If you intentionally accumulate saliva and swallow in salaah, is your salaah broken?
Q: If a food particle is stuck in my throat, and I swallow it while in salaah. Is my salaah and wudhu broken? If a food particle is stuck in my throat, and I do NOT swallow it while in salaah. Is my salaah and wudhu broken?
Q: I was wondering if my Salaah is invalidated if I make sounds during the Salaah when going down into sajda as a result of feeling a pain in my foot?
Q: As far as I am aware, speaking intentionally or unintentionally will nullify the salaah and it will have to be re-prayed again according to the hanafi maddhab (although, if I am incorrect in my understanding then please correct me jazak Allah khayr). The question I would like to ask is that say for example, if I recite اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ and in my heart I say Aameen but my tongue may move slightly unintentionally, however there is no sound of any letters coming out, can that be classed as speaking in Salaah?
Q: If I carry out my fard salaah and later after the time where the salaah is valid, find out that I did an action that would have invalidated the salaah, is it sufficient for me to not repeat that mistake in all future prayers or must I make up the salaahs that I unknowingly carried out the mistake in?
Q: If the toes do slide slowly during sajdah (because the prayer rug is slippery) without it lifting off the ground, is the sajdah and thus also the Salaah valid?
Q: I have these doubts all the time. I know too much movement breaks salaah. I have a habit of curling my toes of both my feet, sometimes not ob purpose, sometimes consciously. I am not moving them so much. Just slightly. Will this break the salaah?
Q: Licking lips in salaah out of dryness, will it break the Salaah?
Q: While performing salaah, I felt a small particle of food in my mouth and I removed it with my finger. Is my salaah valid?
Q: To pray Salaah without making intention, to eat during Salah, to lift your feet during Salah, to lift your hands and to make an expression which makes a person looking think that you are not in Salah all make your Salah invalid. If I have done any of these actions whilst not knowing that these break Salah, do I have to do Qadha for them?
