Q: When playing sports to keep fit e.g squash or soccer etc, is it permissible to wear 3/4 shorts and tshirt, or must one wear a short kurtha?

Q: On Bakri eid we find that many people who usually wear kurthas and sunnat libaas leave the sunnat clothing and wear 3/4 shorts and tshirt, with the excuse that we cannot make Qurbani /work with a kurtha on. Do we find this in the life of Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam that he would wear different clothes when doing messy work etc or should one stick to wearing the kurtha when doing hard work etc?

Q: I have long hair and I refrain from cutting my hair after I came to know that for women it is impermissible to cut their hair. I observe hijab Alhumdulilah and I was wanting to have a nice hair cut not for any other purpose just because I want to have a nice hair cut once. Will it be permissible to cut my hair or is it haram?

Q: What is the most preferable sunnah regarding keeping hair for males as we know that Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam's) hair was long except one 4 or 5 occasions?

Q: My daughter want to get a piercing on the top of her ear. She does wear a scarf when she goes out. Is it permissible?

Q: Is products (like beauty creams) that are highly probable to have haram animal constituents considered najas? 

Q: Is it true that women are not allowed to curl their hair? If yes, please may you explain why, with reference to any hadith etc.

Q: Should the thermals worn in winter under the pyjama be above the ankles or is it permissible if they are not?

Q: Is it sunnat to have one's kurtha pocket on the right hand side of the chest? And have the button flap with the right side on top of the left?

Q: We know that outside the home ladies should be in purdah, fully covered, not wearing tight clothes etc. What about within the home (not in the bedroom), what restrictions on clothing will there be?
