Q: What is the method of giving Azaan from a minaret?
Q: If a masbooq finds the Imaam in sajdah or jalsah or qadah, should he join the Imaam in that posture or can he wait for the Imaam to stand up for the next rakaat?
Q: Is it permissible/recommended for a person to spit in salaah if he finds whispers of shaitaan troubling him? Is there anything else he should rather do based on authentic narrations?
The below narration is from Muslim Shareef:
O Messenger of Allah, the shaytaan interferes between me and my prayer and my recitation, and he makes me confused. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “That is a devil called Khinzab. If you feel that, then seek refuge with Allah from him and spit dryly to your left three times.” He said: I did that and Allah took him away from me.
Please advise.
Q: Is it permissible and advisable to recite duas after Durood Ebrahim in the fardh, sunnah and nafl salaah?
Q: I wanted to know if you make intention before salah for fardh or nafil or whatever. Example: Zohar and you made intentions for 4 fardh but you ended making sunnah first instead of the fardh. How does this affect it?
Q: I heard that 4 rakaats after Esha is equal to Tahajjud Salaah on Laylatul-Qadr. I wanted to know what's the tarteeb of reading these 4 Rakaats, is it 2 Sunnah and 2 Nafl before Witr or is it 2 Sunnah then 2 Nafl and another 2 nafl then Witr or is it 2 Sunnah and 4 Nafl with one Salaam and then Witr?
Also, what will be the count of the Esha Rakaats taking into consideration either 4 or 2 Rakaats before, these 4 mentioned in the Hadith and also the 2 Rakaats sitting after Witr?
Q: Regarding the muqtadi saying the takbeer when moving between postures of Salaah, should the muqtadi say the takbeer as soon as he hears that the imaam started his takbeer or should the muqtadi wait for the imaam to finish his takbeer then start his takbeer?
Q: My grandmother passed away some years ago. During the final portion of her life (approximately two years), she suffered from dementia, due to which she would be very confused as to what day it was, whether she had eaten or not, etc. At this time, she stopped performing salaah as well. My questions are:
(1) Does fidyah need to be paid for the all salaah she did not perform during the period she suffered from dementia?
(2) If yes, can the fidyah be paid from her estate/wealth?
(3) If the fidyah cannot be paid from the estate, who is responsible for paying it?
Q: I would like to seek advice on how one can become consistent in waking up for Fajr salaah and maintaining consistency with all my daily salaahs. I find myself struggling, especially with Fajr, and at times I miss or delay other prayers as well. Could you please guide me on practical steps, habits, and any duas or actions that can help me stay firm and disciplined in my salaah?
