Performing an extra sajda-e-sahw in salaah

Q: Does doing an extra sajda-e-sahw affect salaah? 

In the last sitting, I recited tashahhud, did sajda-e-sahw, then recited tashahhud, and became unsure if I had done sajda-e-sahw, so I did it again and finished my salaah. Is the prayer valid?

A: Yes, it is valid.
