Q: I just recently realised that some of my burkas, when I hold up 1 layer to the light then you can see my hand through the fabric, but with 2 layers like when we wear it then you can't see as much. Some burkas you can see the silhouette of my hand but not the colour, but when I wear the burka I can't really see myself through the burka.
So I just wanted to check if its allowed to read salaah with burkas like this and to wear them outside and stuff?
Q: I'm okay with wearing simple clothing without designs but my family could be unaccepting towards not wearing the many clothes I have at home, which have designs or and patterns. What should I do in a case where I might not be able to make them understand easily?
Does hijab that have different colours at once fall under designs? For example, red fading into black.

Now in a normal setting among other women, everyone is fully covered but not always in “modest” clothing since it’s females. So in some areas clothes are tight like when wearing a t-shirt for example or trousers. When they wear clothes like this for example, the shape of their body is shown. Are we sinful if we look at their body? Or if we see the shape of things that are apparent or showing (when there is no fitnah)?
Are we supposed to be lowering our gaze as females to other females too? Because when they move etc. even then things naturally show, so what do we do? Are we sinful if we’ve looked or if we’ve seen anything?
Q: What falls under attractive colours for women's clothing, with examples?
Is any colour fine as long as they're dark? Example, darker shades of maroon, sage green, etc.
Q: I have been coming back to Islam since Ramadan alhamdulillah. Before Ramadan I practiced Western version of Sunni Islam by dress and behavior. Since then I'm feeling pull towards salafi methodology.
I've begun being mentored by a kind salafi woman MashaAllah.
She says a woman should cover with niqab and gloves any time her husband is not home, even if she's not being seen by non mahram. She said it's an act of worship and a way to show and ask Allah Ta'ala for extra protection while my husband (protector) is not home.
Is there Islamic basis for this, is this from culture, or from her specifically?
Q: Is it permissible for a lady to wear a colourful scarf with her black abaya and black niqaab?
Q: I wanted to ask a question regarding the dressing of women in their own homes. In my house we have our own gym area where me, my mother, and sisters exercise. While exercising they usually wear shorts that go till the knees and a low cut tank top that shows their cleavage. Their nipples are sometimes also visible sometimes. Is this allowed Islamically if there is no fear of fitnah?
Q: Is it permissible for my wife to dress in jeans, heels, and other very provocative western and eastern attire in the boundary of our home? There is no risk of anyone entering upon my wife. This is all for my pleasure, so that I am able to better guard my gaze and be satisfied at home?
