Q: I'm okay with wearing simple clothing without designs but my family could be unaccepting towards not wearing the many clothes I have at home, which have designs or and patterns. What should I do in a case where I might not be able to make them understand easily?
Does hijab that have different colours at once fall under designs? For example, red fading into black.
A: If the designs are not wrong then you may wear these clothes in their presence in the home.
Within the home, it is allowed. However, when leaving the home, then the clothing must be unattractive.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
