Q: Is it permissable for ladies to put gold slits in their teeth by a dentist?

Q: I have heard that cupping is sunnat, and have also heard that cupping is not Sunnat. Which is the correct view? I was under the impression that all that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam advised or did was Sunnat. Please can Mufti Saheb explain why cupping is not Sunnat and how things get classified as Sunnat?

Q: If a person has committed backbiting against someone, and wants to make taubah from backbiting, and the person he was backbiting about does not know about it, does one have to go and tell the person I said this and that about you, make maaf, or can one beg forgiveness from Allah and do some good action and send the sawaab to the person?
