Q: Is it halal to play cricket? Most people treat it like a religion. Is that halal and is it halal to play cricket on tv?

Q: As per Hadith no. 7054 narrated in Sahih Muslim "Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created the clay on Saturday and He created the mountains on Sunday and He created the trees on Monday and He created the things entailing labor (or hardship/displeasure) on Tuesday and He created light on Wednesday and He caused the animals to spread on Thursday and He created Adam (peace be upon him) after 'Asr on Friday..." (Sahih Muslim)." 

As per this Hadith, on Tuesday things which are hated upon/unliked are created. So I want to ask, if one is born on Monday or Friday, are they considered to be lucky/blessed? Similarly, if a person who is born on Tuesday, is that person unlucky/unblessed or unliked in the sight of Allah who has to go through a hard life? 

Q: Is it permissible for a tailor/dressmaker to alter clothing of non-Muslims? 

For example if a Hindu brings a sari to alter for Diwali or a Christian tells the tailor that they need the clothes altered for Christmas, will it be permissible for the tailor to do this job?

Q: My grandmother passed away some years ago. During the final portion of her life (approximately two years), she suffered from dementia, due to which she would be very confused as to what day it was, whether she had eaten or not, etc. At this time, she stopped performing salaah as well. My questions are: 

(1) Does fidyah need to be paid for the all salaah she did not perform during the period she suffered from dementia? 
(2) If yes, can the fidyah be paid from her estate/wealth? 
(3) If the fidyah cannot be paid from the estate, who is responsible for paying it?

Q: 

1. If the wudhu of a mazoor person (urine incontinence) sometimes, but not always, lasts through a short salaah period, namely maghrib, will he still be considered a mazoor? 

2. If he accidently sleeps through a salaah period, he will not know whether or not something exited, since movement is little during sleep, it's unlikely something exited, will he still be considered a mazoor?

Q: A Moulana says that it would be permissible for a woman to attend a females only university. Is what the Moulana saheb said correct?

Q: I will be receiving about R50 000 in inheritence. 

I am married with 4 kids but my husband doesn't always provide. I work, and earn a basic salary and most often I am paying for my children's clothes or treats etc. 

I want to give 10% of my inheritance in charity, however I do have debts to pay and most of the time, my money is all finished and I can't buy myself anything. 

Is it better to give out the amount as sadqah or better to pay off my debts and my zakaat which is due and keep the rest as an emergency nest.

Q: For Eid, I'm going to see my family abroad. I'm only going for one week so I will be a Musaafir. One condition of wujoob for Qurbaani is that a person is a Muqeem. I am planning to do zabah of an animal there. 

The question is what intention do I make? Is it Nafl? If its Nafl, can I then do esaale thawaab of it instead of doing it from my own side? Or will it become waajib when I buy the animal even though I'm a Musaafir?

Q: If we make a habit of reciting Surah Waaqiah in the sunnah of Maghrib, would it be against sunnah practice that our beloved Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was not doing it OR it is against the ruling that we should not fix a particular surah for a particular prayer?

Q: Someone owes me R5000. If I tell him, “Give the money which you owe me to the poor on my behalf as my zakaat”, will my zakaat be discharged?
