Marrying a girl who is willing to accept Islam
Q: Can I marry a Hindu low caste girl if she on her own freewill accepts Islam?
A: The institution of nikaah has been objectively effected in Shari'ah in order to produce its desired results. The main purpose and object of nikaah - apart from it serving as a halaal avenue to fulfil one's desires - is that each spouse should be an assistant and support for the other in fulfilling the orders of Allah Ta'ala and in practising Deen. Each spouse should act responsibly and fulfil the obligations and duties of the nikaah that have been assigned to them by Allah Ta'ala. The offspring born from such a wedlock will have to be given the required Islamic upbringing and care that is needed and each spouse should play an important role in imbibing the correct Islamic values and creating the correct mindset within the children. If the sole intention of the girl to embrace Islam is in order to get married to you, then obviously the purpose of nikaah will not be achieved through getting married to this type of girl since she is not compatible with you in your Deen and since her aim for accepting Islam is only pleasure.
