Joining Salaahs

Q: I traveled from Cape Town to KZN for work for approximately 10 days. My work requires much travel to far flung places like Durban, Harrismith, Van Reenen and Vryheid. Based on the locations of the work areas, can I combine my salaah for my entire stay in KZN or should I make salaah separately after three days?

A: All your namaaz should be read separately. There is no question of you joining the namaaz for three days or after three days. If you are genuinely in a hurry while travelling you may combine the Zuhr with the Asr by reading the Zuhr salaah at the last part of the Zuhr time and once the Asr time enters you may immediately perform your Asr. The same could be done for Maghrib with Esha by reading the Maghrib salaah at the last part of the Maghrib time and thereafter reading Esha as soon as the Esha time sets in.

And Allah Ta`ala knows best.
