Uploading videos, pictures, music, etc. on websites for clients
Q: I am a web developer and an IT professional. While developing any website, I sometimes have to add videos, pictures, cartoons, movies, music and many more related things. What should I do in such situations?
A: Adding videos, pictures, cartoons, movies, music, etc. while developing websites is not permissible. You should refrain from this as you will be involved in sin and become the cause for others committing sins.

وَتَعاوَنوا عَلَى البِرِّ وَالتَّقوى وَلا تَعاوَنوا عَلَى الإِثمِ وَالعُدوان ﴿المائدة: ٢﴾
ولو استأجر رجلا لينحت له أصناما، أو ليزخرف له بيتا بالتماثيل فلا أجر له كما لو استأجر نائحة، أو مغنية، وإن استأجر لينحت له طنبورا أو بربطا، ففعل طاب له الأجر إلا أنه يأثم به (فتاوى قاضي خان 2/226)
قال ولا يجوز الاستئجار على الغناء والنوح وكذا سائر الملاهي لأنه استئجار على المعصية والمعصية لا تستحق بالعقد (الهداية 3/303)
