Sunnah method of ghusal

Q: As nowadays we are using showers in bathrooms for taking a bath. What will be the procedure for taking Fardh Ghusal with showers?

A: The Sunnah method of making ghusal is that one commences by washing the hands and thereafter washing the private areas. Thereafter one should make wudhu and then one should wash the entire body thrice. One will commence by washing the head thrice and thereafter by washing the right and left shoulder thrice. One should ensure that one gargles the mouth and rinses the nostrils while making wudhu as this is fardh in ghusal.
