Q: Are there a group of people whose duas are not accepted?
A: The hadeeth speaks about the duas of certain people not being accepted on mubaarak occasion, like one who deals in interest or wine, harbours malice and ill feelings for his brothers etc.
1547 - وروى البيهقي من حديث عائشة رضي الله عنها أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال أتاني جبرائيل عليه السلام فقال هذه ليلة النصف من شعبان ولله فيها عتقاء من النار بعدد شعور غنم كلب ولا ينظر الله فيها إلى مشرك ولا إلى مشاحن ولا إلى قاطع رحم ولا إلى مسبل ولا إلى عاق لوالديه ولا إلى مدمن خمر (الترغيب ؤالترهيب 2/ 118)
