Wearing a turban

Q: What is the sunnah method of wearing an amaamah? How to wear it in the light of the Sunnah and what are the virtues?

A: Wearing a turban is a great Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) which earns one immense reward. Wearing the turban was the general practice of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and Sahaabah and a salient feature of Deen in the noble era of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). The Sunnah method of tying the turban is that one covers the entire head with the turban together with allowing the coil to go around the head.
