What should one do with pigs that were part of the farm one purchased
Q: I purchased a farm and whatever it contains from a non-muslim farmer. Afterwards I found out that the non-muslim farmer kept many domesticated pigs as pets on the farm. I thought of loading them up on my truck and dumping them in the bushes, but then I realized that they are tame pigs and in doing so, they will not survive in the bushes and die within days. They are too the creation of Allah Ta'ala, hence I find difficulty in just dumping them and leaving them for dead. I then thought of giving them to another non-muslim farmer but then the thought came to mind that what if I will be assisting them in haraam in doing so? Then I finally thought of shooting them and then giving the meat to a relative of mine who owns a lion park, as food for the lions. Is it permissible for me to give the pig meat to him to feed his lions? If not, then what should I do with these pigs? Please advise.
A: I suggest that you give it to a non-Muslim and ask him to destroy them. Don't be concerned of what he does afterwards.

Q: In regard to this maslah, I have come across the following ibaarat. Please explain.
لأن المسلم ممنوع عن تمليكها (الخنزير) وتملكها لما فيه من إعزازها (كتاب الغصب رد المحتار)
A: As we have explained that you ask him to dispose of it. You will not give it to him as a gift. Disposing refers to destroying.

Q: Should one tell someone else to destroy ones pigs or do تسييب (releasing) of the pigs?
A: Destroy them.

Q: The fuqaha have mentioned يجب تسييب الخنزير so why would قتل be adviseable if one has pigs. In raddul muhtar it is written
وانظر لم يقولوا ويقتل الخنزير مع أن تسييب السوائب لا يحل
A: Tasyeeb here will refer to not taking care of them and just leaving them in the wilderness, not the tasyeeb practised by pagan Arabs in jaahiliyyat:
مَا جَعَلَ اللہُ مِنۡۢ بَحِیۡرَۃٍ وَّلَا سَآئِبَۃٍ

Q: Would doing تسييب not be better than destroying? The fuqaha have written يجب تسييب الخنزير and in raddul muhtar is following وانظر لم يقولوا ويقتل الخنزير
