Masturbating while fasting

Q: A person while fasting in Ramadhaan masturbates by rubbing himself on the bed. What is the status of the roza? Is he supposed to do qaza or kaffara?

A: He should repent to Allah Ta'ala for this sin he had committed and make a firm resolve that he will not repeat this sin in the future. His roza will break, however only qaza will be waajib.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
