Urine splashes
Q: Whilst doing istinja and washing away the urine, sometimes water goes towards the inner thighs, but is this water considered najis. Do I have to wash my thighs and my hand after washing away the urine, or is it considered clean because water is continuously running. I feel like I have to use more water this way and I'm not sure if I should be washing everything.
A: If urine splashes on your thigh, then you should wash that area.

وتطهير النجاسة التي يجب غسلها على وجهين فما كان له منها مرئية زوال عينها إلا أن يبقى من أثرها ما يشق إزالته وما ليس له عني مرئية فطهارتها أن يغسل حتى يغلب على ظن الغاسل أنه قد طهر (مختصر القدوري صـ 21)
(قوله: ومع طهارة المغسول تطهر اليد) هذا مختار الفقيه أبي جعفر وقيل: يجب غسلها لأنها تتنجس بالاستنجاء وقيل: يسن وهذا هو الصحيح كما مر في سنن الوضوء نوح ونقل في القنية أنه لو استنجى بالماء وبيده خيط مشدود لا يطهر بطهارة اليد ما لم يمر اليد بالخيط إمرارا بليغا (الدر المختار 1/345)
