Reciting softly in jahri Salaah

Q: If the Imaam prays Surah Fatiha silently in jahri salaat, would sajda-e-sahw be wajib? If only two verses or three verses are recited what will be the Hukm?

A:

1. Yes

2. If he recited three small verses or one long verse (i.e. which is equivalent to thirty huroof or more) silently, then sada-e-sahw will be waajib. If he recited less than that, sajda-e-sahw will not be waajib.
