Q: I saw my dead grandfather in my dream. He was wearing red (near to mehroon) coloured shirt and black pants an islamic cap (which he usually used to wear). He banged the door of his house (I was in his house) and loudly called out "assalamualikum". He seemed so happy. After seeing this, I suddenly woke up with a jerk as if I would have seen something scary. I want to know the interpretation and about my grandfather. Is he happy and in peace over there?
A: This is a good dream. Salaam means peace. Insha Allah he is in an abode of peace. Recite a portion of the Qur'an or give some sadaqah and convey the reward to your deceased grandfather.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
