Male teacher speaking freely with his non-mahram female students

Q: I have a teacher who is male. If he asks me how my exam was? Should I ignore or reply? If I must ignore, how will I ignore?

A: It is not at all right for a male ustaad to be casual or speak freely to his non-mahram female students. Strict purda should be observed between all non-mahram males and females. This type of conduct generally leads to fithna and people entertaining suspicions regarding the non-mahram male and female. Especially in these times where fithna and sin is widespread, a greater degree of caution should be exercised. The best thing for females is that they acquire Deeni education within the confines of their homes.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
