Dua for a clean heart and good character

Q: What is the best way to keep my heart clean from negative thinking for others, jealousy, hatred, pride etc.? Please teach me some dua to have great akhlak and taqwa and clean heart.
A: Allah Ta`ala has not appointed you to watch over others nor has He declared you to be the judge, so why should you fall into an area that you were not assigned to.
Recite the following du`aa:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اهْدِنِيْ لِأَحْسَنِ الأَخْلاَقِ لاَ يَهْدِيْ لِأَحْسَنِهَا إِلاَّ أَنْتَ وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ سَيِّئَهَا لاَ يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَهَا إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
