Denying Taqdeer

Q:

1. Is a person considered a Kafir if he or she does not believe in Taqdeer (Destiny)?

2. Can Dua change Taqdeer? Some scholars say that dua can change Taqdeer while others say dua cannot change Taqdeer. I am confused.

A:

1. Yes.

2. Go on making du`aa and hope in Allah. Nobody knows taqdeer, hence it is pointless you asking a question. The knowledge of taqdeer is by Allah alone and His knowledge is unchangeable.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
