Not performing Tawaaful Widaa

Q: Will my wife be halal for me if I do not perform tawaf ul wida and go back to my country?

A: If you completed all the rituals of Hajj and you did not make Tawaaful Widaa, since Tawaaful Widaa is waajib, through leaving out the waajib, damm will be compulsory. However, since you have come out of ihraam entirely through performing all the rituals of Hajj, your wife will not be haraam upon you.

Note: If one does not do Tawaaful Widaa before leaving Makaah Mukarramah, but makes a nafl tawaaf after tawaaf-e-ziyaarat, the nafl tawaaf will suffice for the Tawaaful Widaa, and damm will not be compulsory.
