Difference between Deen and Mazhab

Q: What is the difference between Deen and Mazhab?

A: Deen refers to the standards that were adopted by all the Ambiya (Alayhimus Salaam) in principle issues (belief in tawheed, risaalat, jannat, jahannum, divine scriptures, angels, etc). Mazhab refers to the principles that were formulated by Imaams and the leading Ulama in order to extract and deduce laws from the Qur'an and Hadith.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
