Cleaning impurities from clothing
Q: We have a washerman, who after cleaning the clothes with detergent uses hodees (small water ponds to store water) to wash them completely. He uses 3 or 4 such hodees such that after putting clothes in one, he puts them in the other to remove the remains of the detergent... Will it suffice to make the najis clothes paak if one finds no signs of najasat afterwards...
A: We do not understand the doubt here, for he has already cleaned the clothes of the najaasat with the detergent and then places them in the hodees just to remove the detergents.

Q: Actually previously I had listened to a fatwa that if knowingly napaak clothes (soiled with mani etc.) are given to a dhobi to wash, it will be regarded as napaak when received back and if paak clothes (not soiled with any najasat) are given, it will be regarded as paak when received back. That's why I put the previous question for guidance.
A: Since he is washing the clothes before putting it in the small water ponds, the clothes will be regarded as paak.
