Questioning why people are punished

Q: Allah loves a human 70 times more than the love of a mother. How can he put the same human in hellfire given that He loves him so much.

A: The mercy and compassion of Allah Ta`ala is far beyond our understanding, and His wisdom and knowledge is beyond comprehension. If he decides Jahannum for anybody then there isn't a decision better than that. Your work is just to listen and remain a slave under Allah. Don't assume to be the boss over Allah, feeling that you have the right to question His authority.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
