Building on one's father's property at one's own expense

Q: My father recently granted me permission to build on his property at my own expense. Our mutual agreement is that my building that I constructed belongs to me. What happens if the entire property eventually gets sold? Do i get a share of the proceeds since the property will most likely be sold in its entirety?

A: I suggest that you ask him about this. The better option will be that you buy that piece of land where the building is going to be put up to avoid future problems and estate problems.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
