Method for strengthening one's imaan

Q: I am a teenager, but I don't read salaah or Qur'aan anymore, and my parents don't enforce it. Whilst living with my grandmother, it was enforced. I don't want to lose my faith. Reading salaah and Qur'aan are becoming difficult. My questions are:

1- how do I regain my faith and just become a better Muslim overall?

2- what books (excluding the Qur'aan) would you recommend for a Muslim to read regardless of the situation?

3- If a person were to begin learning arabic, how would you suggest they go about it?

1. Reflect over the temporary nature of this world and the certainty of death. Ponder over the fact that you are receiving so many bounties from Allah Ta`ala and that you need to express you gratitude to Him by obeying His commands. Therefore, you will then need to perform your salaah and recite the Qur'aan.

2. Read the following books at home daily with the rest of your family: Fazaa'il-e-A`maal, Fazaa'il-e-Sadaqaat and Bahishti Zewar.

3. There are various ulama that you can refer to who can teach you and may be willing to teach you.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
