Saying to someone "I will not take you to Jannah"
Q: If someone tells me you won't get jannah or I will not take you into jannah or a Hafiz tells me I wont take you into jannah or you won't go into jannah. Or anything else like this. Will they affect me or can I ever be deserving of it being told me and then will it affect me?
A: No person can claim to have earned his passport to Jannah in this world. It is wrong for any person to say that I will not take you to Jannah, for he himself has not secured his place. So this question cannot come about as to whether he will take the next person or not.
وعن أبي هريرة قال لما نزلت وأنذر عشيرتك الأقربين دعا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قريشا فاجتمعوا فعم وخص فقال يا بني كعب بن لؤي أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار يا بني مرة بن كعب أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار يا بني عبد شمس أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار يا بني عبد مناف أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار با بني هاشم أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار يا بني عبد المطلب أنقذوا أنفسكم من النار يا فاطمة أنقذي نفسك من النار فإني لا أملك لكم من الله شيئا غير أن لكم رحما سأبلها ببلالها رواه مسلم
وفي المتفق عليه قال يا معشر قريش اشتروا أنفسكم لا أغني عنكم من الله شيئا ويا صفية عمة رسول الله لا أغني عنك من الله شيئا ويا فاطمة بنت محمد سليني ما شئت من مالي لا أغني عنك من الله شيئا (مشكاة # 5373)
