Kaffarah for breaking one's oath

Q: I have taken an oath in the name of Allah never to watch TV or movies if my father's blood report comes normal. Alhamdulillah his blood report came normal. A few days back one of my friend's showed me a movie trailer, I told him before that I've made niyyat not to watch TV and movies but he was unaware that day and I coudn't say no to him and unintentionally I wacthed the movie trailer

1. Does my oath still remain? If not, what kaffarah do I have to pay?

2. Does my oath still remain if I broke it or do I have to retake it?

3. I unintentionally broke it but I am scared of my wrongdoing that Allah will punish my father, how do I repent it?

1. Obviously the oath breaks and you will need to pay the kaffaarah. The kaffaarah for breaking an oath is to feed ten poor people two meals each, or give each one of them the equivalent of sadaqatul fitr or clothe each one of them.

2. Once it broke, you do not need to retake it.

3. This belief is incorrect. Every person is responsible for himself. The consequence of your wrong will not be passed on to your father.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

4. Can the kaffarah be given to the needy non-Muslims as well?

2. The price of 1.636 kg of wheat is the amount of sadaqatul fitr.

3. Yes.

4. Preferably give it to Muslims.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
