Difference between inshaa Allah and bi iznillah

Q: What is the difference between ‘bi iznillah’ and ‘Insha-Allah’and what could be the sources of these two phrases?

A: Inshaa Allah is generally used in reference to doing some action in the future (e.g. one says I will come to your home tomorrow Inshaa Allah).

As for bi iznillah, it can be used for the past, present and future e.g. one says this happened yesterday bi iznillah (with the will and permission of Allah Ta'ala).

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
