Q: Is there any wazifah one can recite to fulfill a need (haajat)?
A: You should perform Salaatul Haajat and engage in dua, begging Allah Ta'ala to fulfill your need. It is reported in the Mubaarak Hadith that the one who performs Salaatul Haajat and begs Allah Ta‘ala to fulfil his need, Allah Ta‘ala will fulfill his need.
The Sunnah method of performing Salaatul Haajat is for one to make a proper wudhu and then perform two rakaats Salaatul Haajat. Thereafter, one should engage in dua by first praising Allah Ta‘ala and conveying Durood upon Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). One should then recite the following dua:
There is no deity besides Allah, The Most Tolerant, The Most Generous, Who is free from any fault, The Rabb of the great throne. Praise be to Allah, the Rabb of the worlds. I ask You for all those things that will make Your mercy necessary on me, and all those things that will secure for me Your forgiveness and a full share of virtuous deeds and complete safety from vice. (O Allah) let not a single sin of mine be left without it being forgiven, nor let any worry or pain be left from being relieved, nor let any grief be left from being dispelled, nor let any difficulty be left from being removed, and nor any need of mine which you will be pleased with- let it not be left from being fulfilled, O The Most Merciful and Compassionate.
To have one's needs fulfilled, one may also recite the following dua seven times in the morning and evening. It is reported in the Mubaarak Hadith that the one who recites the following dua seven times in the morning and evening, Allah Ta‘ala will suffice him for his needs of this world and the Hereafter:
Allah Ta‘ala is sufficient for me, there is none worthy of worship besides Him, I place my trust solely upon Him and he is the Rabb of the Great Throne.
Hazrat Abu Dardaa (radhiyallahu anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Whoever recites the following dua seven times in the morning and evening, Allah Ta‘ala will suffice him for his needs of this world and the Hereafter."
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
