Wearing high heels and clothing that attracts attention

Q: Is it permissible for women to wear high heels shoes or any other type of footwear which makes a sound when walking in front of non mahram men?
A: Wearing any clothing that attracts attention can result in fitnah. This type of clothing, shoes or outfits that could result in fitnah must be discarded. The same will apply to clothing or attire that is mainly worn by kuffaar and people who are disinterested in deen. Similarly, the attire, clothing and shoes that are worn by males generally should not be worn by women.
