Saying "asul" (اسُولُ) instead of "rasul" (رَسُولُ) when trying to recite the shahaadah

Q: If a person says "asul" (اسُولُ) instead of "rasul" (رَسُولُ) when trying to recite the shahaadah, has he changed the meaning of the whole sentence to the point of uttering a word of kufr?
A: If he meant Rasul and he could not pronounce it though he understood exactly the meaning of the contents then his shahaadah will be accepted insha Allah. He should make an attempt to correct himself.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
